Aladdin began its theatrical journey in 2011 in Seattle, when it debuted in Seattle. It moved from city to city as the show found its footing, eventually launchiing a pre-Broadway tryout in Toronto from November 2013 to January 2014. Once that stint was complete, Aladdin — which had undergone some changes — was ready to make its Broadway debut. The show officially opened on March 20, 2014 at New Amsterdam Theatre. Aladdin tickets can still be purchased for the show at New Amsterdam Theatre, as well as other popular theaters in LA and Boston.
