About the Jonas Brothers
Kevin Jonas, the oldest member of the popular group the Jonas Brothers, described the sound of their band as "Music on Red Bull". Along with his brothers Nick and Joseph, the three brothers were destined for a successful career in music as both of their parents were musicians. Each of the Jonas Brothers began singing early in their lives as they gathered around the piano and had sing-alongs as a family. Joseph Jonas had a little different plan as he saw himself having a career in comedy and wanted to audition for multiple sketch comedy shows. But his talent singing led him to join his brothers to comprise the Jonas Brothers.
Before the Jonas Brothers could come together as a group, plans were for Nick to record a solo album. But when Nick began submitting songs that incorporated his brothers, the label saw how talented the siblings were together and signed them as a group act. The Jonas Brothers' first single 'Mandy' was released in 2005 and was a hit on MTV's Total Request Live.
