Elton John was born Reginald Kenneth Dwight in London, England on March 25, 1947. He has always had incredible talent in music, taking piano lessons at the age of seven and turned those lessons into a scholarship to Royal Academy of Music four years later. Honky Chateau (1972) featured the single ‘Rocket Man (I Think It’s Going to Be a Long, Long Time)’, a song that has maintained popularity even thirty years after its original release. He has since released a countless number of studio, live and compilation albums as well as hit singles over his career, all as original as him.
